Welcome to our website!

Reaping Nature Educational Outreach Foundation, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides environmental education programs for children and the public, with a special emphasis on underserved and disadvantaged children in Title I schools.

Environmental education teaches children and adults to care for their natural environment.  Educating others to care for issues impacting our environment, such as resource depletion, recycling and water/energy conservation, is an investment for all of us.

Testimonials:

“Reaping Nature Educational Outreach Foundation, Inc. has been incredibly instrumental in educating our students about the environment, activism in their homes, schools and community, entrepreneurship, and the ability to be a part of something bigger than themselves.  One of the key outcomes for our students has been their learning and understanding of sustainability, environmental stewardship and future career opportunities.” -- Mark D. Baker, Professional School Counselor, Hollydale Elementary School, Cobb County, GA

“. . . There are number of heroes in our community when it comes to recycling.  My friends Denise Carleton and Mary Nix . . . are also driving forces in teaching, as well as demonstrating environmental stewardship in schools and the community.  The passion that each of these individuals have for recycling and environmental stewardship is most commendable, and I believe it is making an incredible impact in Forsyth County. . . .” -- Dr. L.C. “Buster” Evans, Superintendent of Schools, Forsyth County (excerpt from 8/1/09 blog – Environmental Stewardship:  Your “Million Dollar Bill”
